20 countries participated, from Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, etc.), Europe (Greece, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal), North America ( USA, Canada) and Africa (South Africa). Our country was represented by the company G. ALEXOPOULOS SA. by special invitation of SINDIPECAS (Brazilian Auto Parts Manufacturers Association) and APEX – BRASIL (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). During the meeting, issues such as finding solutions to deal with the global trade crisis, boosting exports between participating countries and promoting important indigenous companies such as Master Power Turbo were discussed.
Master Power is a 100% Brazilian company with a history of only 48 years and headquarters in Sao Marcos, Brazil. It was founded in 1966 by Mr. Nelson Borghetti and until today it has managed to be the first in sales, in the Brazilian market, with a share of 26%. In combination with the privately owned facilities related to the study & production, the privately owned aluminum & cast iron foundries as well as the collaborations with international research laboratories in Germany (FEV laboratories), it has managed to export 30% of the production while a large percentage is promoted as the first placement in manufacturers such as MTU do Brasil (marine engines, military applications), IVECO, KIA, etc. but also in collaborations with foreign houses (Mahle, Bosch etc.).
