The visit at\u00a0VALEO\u2019S<\/strong>\u00a0clutch factory in Amiens France, from a team of 10 truck workshop owners from all over Greece, had great success. The trip and the visit was organized by\u00a0G.Alexopoulos S.A.<\/strong>\u201d in cooperation with the director of the\u00a0Valeo\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0office in Greece,\u00a0Mr. Arnaud Malherbe.<\/strong><\/p>

The visitors had the chance to see the modern facilities of\u00a0Valeo<\/strong>\u00a0and also watch a presentation of the commercial and technical departments of the company.\u00a0Valeo\u00a0<\/strong>is giving great emphasis to the research and the development of new products and also the expansion of the cooperation with the largest car and truck industry operators making\u00a0Valeo<\/strong>\u00a0products first fit (O.E<\/strong>.) and also an option for their official distribution network (O.E.S<\/strong>.) .<\/p>

During the presentation a technical briefing was carried out about the clutch of commercial vehicles, such as the Self- Adjusting technology known as\u00a0SAT<\/strong>\u00a0and also about the High Torque Low Stiffness known as\u00a0HTLS<\/strong>. The participants were given instructions and a live presentation for right installation and fault diagnosis.<\/p>

The participants were astonished as they were explained the importance of the friction material at the clutch disc. At this point it has to be pointed out that\u00a0Valeo<\/strong>\u00a0is the number one production company of friction materials for clutch discs. For the heavy duty line\u00a0Valeo<\/strong>\u00a0is using exclusively 2 of the top quality friction materials, the\u00a0F150\u00a0<\/strong>for the mechanical transmission (construction environment, high payload configuration, frequent rotation of drivers, sleep slope driving) and\u00a0F830<\/strong>\u00a0for automatic transmission (transport & tourism sector, smooth gear selection, outstanding friction coefficient, high wear resistance).<\/p>

Extensive reference has also been made to the remanufactured clutches in which all the dispensable parts of the plate and the disc are completely changed, while their assembly is made on the same production line as the new clutch. It is worth mentioning that the remanufactured clutches are used by the official network of the largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles while the good functioning guarantee is the same as the new clutches, two-year or unlimited mileage in Europe (2YWUM<\/strong>).
At the end of the visit, all the participants took an attendance certificate as well as fleece souvenirs with Valeo Heavy Duty Experts.<\/p>

Valeo<\/strong> surprised their guests taking them for a tour at the cosmopolitan sights of Paris, also the participants had the chance to watch the stars of Paris Saint Germain against RC Strasbourg Alsace for the French Ligue 1 Championship.
